  • The village of Muggia is located on the opposite side of the Bay of Trieste. It impresses with its rural atmosphere - the old stone houses and the main place invite you to stroll, however it is through after about 20 minutes. There's a Castello, which offers a good vantage point over the city on a small hill.

  • Muggia was originally a fishing village. But judging from boats anchored in the marina because it does not have it that way. The people of old, but there's a picture under or next to almost every house cafe ..., bar-like place. home wines are affordable and klezzetli. About half an hour bus ride from Trieste (number 20 Bus-Station leaves every 15 minutes from there).

  • Two steps away from Trieste, really nice country, with an old town pleasant to visit, without the hassles of cars. Relaxing you can turn to admire the sights and several shops. Recommended.

  • Borgetto perched on the sea near Trieste, very pleasant to visit the Harbour, the old town and the Castle. Great to see the sun set over the sea with Trieste and pink.
