  • A hidden gem unknown to me until a few days ago ... really a pleasant surprise among "the most beautiful villages in Italy"

  • The first time I happened to visit Mantova was not because I had heard things about beauty, but much more simply to enjoy a great lunch in an equally great restaurant of this small village which I previously reviewed for Trip Advisor. But getting up from the table and take a little walk "digestives" with friends who had led me here was one. The medieval walls, clear imprint of Verona (the Scaligeri were Lords of Verona in the 13th and 14th century), il borghetto so well restored and preserved, the mansion with the beautiful garden and the pond are the small wonders of this Pearl of the moraine hills to the South of Lake Garda that then I liked knowing, and I come back to visit whenever I feel the desire to get out of the traffic and its noise to enjoy a few moments of quiet happiness. Take my advice. Treat yourself to a digression and visit this little slice of heaven! Pierpaolo Adda Soave (Verona)

  • ... the hands stop and get hooked on this small, but especially hamlet. It pauses to see the houses maintained with care by the inhabitants, the beautiful villa, open only in groups of 10 pers.min. and only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (but no matter!), the landscape of the morainic hills ... is a glimpse of the past that opens the door to peace, in the midst of the hectic life of our times.
