Villa Reale Reviews
La villa reale di Monza ha ritrovato tutto il suo splendore dopo anni di abbandono e di degrado. A seguito del restauro del 2012, la villa è ritornata a brillare di luce propria. Edificio neoclassico,... more »The villa reale di Monza was restored to its full glory after years of neglect and decay. Following the restoration of 2012, the villa has returned to shine with their own light. Neo-classical building, designed by Piermarini, for Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, passed by the Habsburgs to Napoleon, back to Austria and then to the Savoy, the Royal villa is now a gem found, restored to its former beauty. The visit to the private apartments of Umberto I of Savoy and his wife Margaret, you will catapult, one of the rare period furniture, in a fascinating journey, between the late ' 800 and the beginning of ' 900. Following the visit to the boardrooms, large, finely paved with polychrome and precious woods, Palladio's from all over the world, from walls and ceilings and elegantly decorated, but completely bare of furniture ... who knows what a treat will be been when living, echoing voices and sounds ... On this visit the look is captured by the refined atmosphere, but the glance of the Park which can be seen beyond the Windows is priceless! The view extends as far as the eye on a wide expanse of green perfectly harmonized and so intimately linked to the internal space into natural extension. The visit to the villa reale di Monza is an experience that has all the flavor of the discovery of a rare and precious treasure.
Villa Reale, lo dice il nome, ma è davvero stupenda! Da visitare assolutamente, sopratutto nei mesi primaverili per godersi anche il parco! more »Villa Reale, it says the name, but it's really wonderful! To visit, especially during the spring to enjoy the Park!
Al margine di uno straordinario parco, dotato di provvidenziali parcheggi e collegamento con Monza, si presenta imponente, grandioso, elegante e signorile questo edificio voluto dalla imperatrice MARI... more »On the edge of an extraordinary Park, with providential parking lots and connecting with Monza, looks impressive, great, elegant and stately building wanted by Empress MARIA Theresa of AUSTRIA, later expanded and also used by the King of Italy, who endowed by rich furnishings mostly looted along with degradation in the two world wars, recently repaired and restored
I disagree with most of the reviews I read because this location is excellent from various points of view and I recommend it to those who want to experience a piece of history but full of modern. Food and design come together in one place for everyone, but mostly geared to a chic without being too demanding. The varied menu, traditional dishes revisited in step with the times and the exquisiteness of the service make it a place to spend a moment of serenity and pleasant return to taste and history. Even the local geometry does feel comfortable to enjoy a simple dessert or to share a lunch or dinner. Congratulations! I recommend it to everyone. Price appropriate to the context and the menu offered. Last Sunday I went to brunch, great context, great friendly service and flawless, with a truly amazing price to €35 all included. Very good and congratulations on everything.
Feast day, sunny, and villa Park full of children. At 14.15 we feel that han finished everything! Incommentabile! And like them all bar del parco di Monza. High prices and poor service! Bring your sandwiches from home!
The Villa is gorgeous thanks to Piermarini and not to its management and that of the park that let it down I prefer to leave the atmosphere of the bar and restaurant ... "try to ..." desire only a beautiful walk in the largest enclosed Park in Europe, as long as c is!
The place is very nice, considering the actual Villa as a whole and not strictly a reserved seat in the restaurant which is little more than a hallway. The à la carte menu is not up to the price, the quality is poor, we found also incorrect to show the list of desserts on the menu but only verbally to find out later that a run-of-the-mill sorbet had cost 9 euros. The two restaurants that accompanied me were very disappointed.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is not up to the splendid setting in which it is situated. You can also have a menu with prices high, though the food has to be flawless. Instead the starter and the second of meat I tried were well below expectations. Such a pity! I hope he can improve, but in these conditions are to be avoided.
