  • I think it's the coolest thing to see at Monza; The church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist origins of around 600, there are only traces in the Treasury. In Gothic style, with an interior lived up to expectations, including the altar, the pulpit, the vault and the beautiful chapel of Theodelinda. To visit the latter book or wait a readiness for the guided tour: the pictorial cycle of Zavattari and opening the safe with the vision of the Iron Crown are the cherry finish.

  • The exterior is really fantastic, Gothic, Sin a part of the façade is occupied by scaffolding. The Interior is very nice, great rose window at the entrance but also the decorations. To the exit a statue of Christ on the cross, seems to have a toupee on his head (particular thing, never seen in other churches). I absolutely recommend a visit, inevitable among the things to see.

  • For those visiting Monza 2 are the stages in order, one is the Palace alia is the Cathedral although personally I have loved more the latter. The Cathedral is rich in its interior there are some extraordinary things, many stood out as the altar, lectern, the chapel of theodolinda just to name a few. Inside it is forbidden to take pictures.

  • Very nice Cathedral internally ... nothing to envy envy to Milan! Worth a visit for those who come to Monza for the first time!

  • My personal experience was certainly positive. At mle enquiries and permission to visit certain places the answers have always been in a rude and arrogant. Other visitors like me were incredulous. Sin, a place so full of history but handled so badly. Please, no camera ... no pictures!
