  • Finally after so many years I was able to revisit the chapel thanks to the villas open! You can now visit on certain days and calling the keeper! Memorial place that hides treasures. The Chapel is full of wonderful mosaics. In the crypt is the black marble marker that indicates the exact spot of the killing of King Umberto I. bronze wreaths on the walls from all over the world.

  • But also in the much more civilised and punctual North every so often do not respect their opening hours. Patience, even from the outside, you can see the Majesty and symbolism. The rest I see him next time. Maybe. If they meet its opening hours.

  • The expiatory Chapel, was built to commemorate the killing of King Umberto I, built by King Victor Emmanuel II. The inauguration of the chapel took place in 1910, the place where King Umberto I was assassinated. Inside, very nice, stands the bronze statue of the Pieta ', and much more. Every year, on July 29, we recite mass in memory of the King.
