  • We have been in this cellar to taste some wines from local grapes, the Gallura. The staff was great. Have met all our requests, letting us sample many bottles, including a sparkling wine and grappa. The quality of the wines is really great, a sign that he was doing a good job from the grower in put to use a good raw material. The prices are very competitive for this range of wines. I will be back!

  • At last I managed to go to the sagra del vermentino di Monti. Upon arrival in Monti breaths a magical sense of celebration, aided by the magnificent landscape and the busy highway of stalls with typical food products and handicrafts; the inevitable beautiful knives. At the entrance to the cellar you realize right away that the party has a common thread: plenty of drink, eat and enjoy. Everything nice it ... but. On that day no one can taste wine cellar, you can buy the bottles but if you don't know them you'll have to come back another day for tastings. I understand the difficulties considering the vast amount of people who crowd the square but with a little organization and considering that not all tourists vacationing near Monti, it seemed an understatement for those coming to visit the first time and doesn't want to binge drinking return home without trying out the products. Fortunately in the adjacent property was organized a tasting of honey with cheese and wine pairing and together with some friends and with my kids, we move to the taste. We are welcomed by a nice lady of the Organization, which informs us that places are limited and was jotting down the number people for the next round and that if you wanted to join we would release of numbered tickets that you would keep the array and, then, send us back there in 20 minutes for tasting. We remain outside while waiting for the first group had terminated as we rejoice for the excellent initiative. I thought the Organization had centred all tastes, both for those who wanted to indulge the thrill of wine and of the charm of the place but also for those who, on that occasion, he just wanted to enjoy the pleasure of good wine without overdoing it. Unfortunately it was not: it was quickly formed a queue at the entrance of the room, with people, that when the tasting was over and started the flow of participants, pushing with bad grace and without any restraint appropriate for children, (term correct) seat reservations. Nothing is served complain about customer in the room that there was no reason to give the tickets if not then accounted for right of way acquired, and I like that it was, as so often happens in Italy, who by the cunning and arrogantly appropriates what des Idera to the detriment of those who act with honesty. The guy not only didn't want to listen to reason, but do quite irritating and with a fool grin on his face he invited us out, invitation to which, given the low level of the interlocutor we readily fulfilled, to ... to never again see you again. . This episode was not a good example for my children, to whom I had to digest this iniquity and disregard of good manners. What to say, maybe at the next Festival this won't happen and it will all be handsome ... though.

  • Great wine. Especially the vermentino bubbly Balari. Vermentino Funtanaliras gold very good. And then all black wines especially the kiri we like very much.

  • Indicated as good vineyard for white wines, but they are rather flat. The reds are better, but not very long in the mouth. The building looks more like a service to a wine cooperative station...
