  • It's beautiful, but if you don't have time to do the 5 villages in one day which is impossible, is not the prettiest. It takes 2 days otherwise with the crowds of summer it's hellish! Focus on Vernaza...

  • Who comes from Northern Italy, Monterosso is the first city and more with face of civilization. The avenida da praia is very agitated and a fantastic Blue Sea, but the beach is pretty crappy for Brazilian standards, as there are many private and stretches all of Boulder. Have to, at least, get off the train and stay there for 10 minutes. Don't die without knowing it.

  • Of the five Lands, found that the more urban, where you see many cars, but your historic center have your charm. The coming and going of tourists in Borgo Antico can take a little charm and patience of the locations, but I recommend sitting outside in one of the restaurants and watch life pass ... no rush.

  • The pasta was great, calamari was slightly towards the blend side, and I wished the staff was nicer
  • Nice place and good fried. Considered the area priced accordingly!

Where to stay in Cinque Terre

It's hard to go wrong with accommodations in Cinque Terre, home to some of the most charming hotels and bed and breakfasts in the country. Choosing among them depends largely on what you want most from your trip. Consider spending a restful vacation on the hilltop to enjoy the famous ocean views, or plant yourself somewhere closer to the shoreline in Riomaggiore for easy access to beaches. If you expect to spend lots of time exploring side streets and local shops, opt for accommodations along one of the main streets in any of the villages. Though it can be difficult to find inexpensive lodgings here, there are some more affordable options in Manarola, the smallest of the five villages, and Monterosso. You can even stay at a hostel in the national park if you want to be close to nature.
