  • Walking through Tuscany is amazing. We were in the winter because I live in Brazil and I think beautiful vegetation and landscape of trees without leaves. the castello is beautiful and worth a walk by its walls

  • Located between Florence and Siena, is the typical village lost among the landscapes of Tuscany. You can walk along the wall of the Castle and have the best views of the surrounding area. The village is divine, invites you to explore it entire walk in a short time.

  • Visited at the beginning of February 2017 the Castle and village of Monteriggioni, does not remain particularly impressed, if not precisely to the structure that has. Shops closed and streets deserted, with a decidedly bucolic setting that, if at times by the place a beautiful mysterious charm, for others it fits as a place "forgotten". Museum and Church still open. Visited quietly in a couple of hours.

  • Great stop on the drive to Siena from Florence. It was entirely unplanned, but when we saw the huge castle there was nothing to do but stop and look! Food is great and local. Offerings include venison and wild boar.
  • Fun little walled city. You have to stop here!
  • Worth the visit! So fascinating!
  • Small, but great medieval castle
  • (September 2014) Stumbled upon it by accident in this castle and we were amazed. Inside it's all beautiful, the walls surrounding the whole Castle and offer a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside. If you are from those parts stop completely. Inside an interesting medieval Museum.
