  • I was treated to a guided tour of the Museum for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Near Bologna and rather small but delicious, is a museum that tells the history of the Celts more than anything else in our land thanks to a Monte Bibele and Monterenzio old. Guide prepared and kind, archaeologist like me, it was nice to listen and share ideas! Merit in addition to suggesting a good lunch spot! A museum that deserves

  • Located in the heart of Monterenzio, the Museum contains archaeological finds at Monte Bibele many years ago. Very well maintained and full of objects despite its small size, the Jockeys Museum is definitely worth a visit!

  • Museum located in Monterenzio, Valley of the river Idice. You can get there easily from the via Emilia in half an hour. The Museum is studied in detail and covers artifacts from an ancient Etruscan-Celtic village destroyed by the Romans. There is a beautiful and unique Celtic helmet. The Museum also has a didactic setting. The settlement was the nearby monte Bibele (admission free but only reachable by car in hardly accessible place; also without guide does not capture interesting details). During the "Celtic Festival" in early July there are guided tours.

  • A small museum in Chemnitz in the hills of Bologna, with an incredible amount of artifacts. A testimony of the Celts and their presence in the territories of Monterenzio. A well structured Museum with careful and accurate exposure. Annually in two weekends between the months of June and July there is the Celtic Festival, Celtic costumes and people in camps. Great atmosphere with fires and people in costume Monterenzio relives his Celtic times. The small museum is worth a visit, accompanied by friendly and knowledgeable guides.

  • The Museum is small but very well structured with a huge wealth of exhibits beautiful very well preserved and displayed accurately where highly skilled guides and with infinite patience guide you among the showcases where you seem to touch the history of the Celts. Is located in a green and picturesque with the river flowing adjacent to a lush green area. Not to be missed!

  • Lovely Museum with pieces beautifully preserved, and in particular a rare if not unique: the disk that was used to found a new village, perfectly preserved. Seems to be the oldest in Europe, and in general very few were found.

  • Very small, but very nice and useful to better understand the presence of the Celtic people to Monterenzio. To be a Museum in a hilltop village is worth a visit.
