  • Majestic work of the Italian Renaissance. Large church with a Greek cross, built at the foot of the town of Montepulciano. Designed by the Architect Antonio da Sangallo the elder retains some 14th-century testimonies and offers a starting point for the architectural achievements of the era. The Bell Tower and the dome are majestic in their simplicity. Impressive interiors, an altar and organ.

  • Before you get on the Hill of Montepulciano is this splendid monumental religious building accessible by car or on foot via a road a few hundred meters long. Question more specifically of a sanctuary built (by Antonio da Sangallo the elder) in honor of the Madonna di San Biagio and is dominated by a large dome. The exterior of the Church, offers the visitor a monochrome image detail, being sheathed entirely in travertine marble. Upon reaching the place exudes a feeling of great mysticism and peace of mind. To one side of the church you can also appreciate a well, which is also covered in travertine marble. The structure is a typical example of 16th-century Tuscan architecture. Inside the church you can see a magnificent organ as well as a series of sacred murals

  • This beautiful church from Greek cross was built at the Centre of a large grassy placed at the base of the hill where the old village of Montepulciano. It can be reached along an avenue bordered by cypresses and from afar appears in all its monumentality, although an isolated building. The most unique aspect is that of two symmetrical bell towers, which are autonomous bodies and clearly separated from the main building, only one is qualified, while the other was built only the first order. Step essential if in Montepulciano there go to the souvenir shops.
