  • The Museo Civico in Montepulciano is situated a few meters from the main square of the city and is full of interesting works. The Hall of terracottas by Andrea Della Robbia are great as paintings of the school of Raphael and Filippo Lippi. The Museum contains works covering a vast period and include several archaeological finds. The ticket price is more than fair and the set up is very nice!

  • The Museum has its seat in the fourteenth-century Palazzo Neri Orselli since 1957. The exhibition is divided into an archaeological section and a Montepulciano, in robbiane, an art gallery and a study (minute passageway where small paintings and furniture of the 16th century). The art gallery has its founding nucleus in the legacy of ben 188 paintings wanted by the Pasha of the Cathedral 1861 Francesco Crociani in, and that includes works from the 17th and 18th centuries due to artists, Florence and Bologna, In addition to paintings by painters of the Netherlands. • We stumbled upon this little Museum housed in an old palace. The Museum contains the entire art collection of the oldest Etruscan patron Crociani. The art gallery on the upper floors is very rich and contains works of great value; You can admire inside a Caravaggio, a Beccafumi, a polychrome ceramics, Signorelli and Sodoma's of Della Robbia. There are also some paintings of Balfour as Guido Reni, Annibale Carracci. To visit and to reevaluate!

  • The Museum is a gem. I renamed "small Uffizi". The collection of paintings covers a period from the 13th to the 19th century. There are great names: Signorelli, Sodom, Beccafumi, Caravaggio, Fabre, Ciseri. It has an outstanding collection of della Robbia, pale terracotta. Absolutely worth visiting.

  • to visit it, I left the car far outside the walls and yet I was made a fine. This thing is worthless and then I will never advise against visiting moltepulciano and all my acquaintances.
