  • It's the calling card of the country. Before you arrive you see from afar this huge rectangle that stands out in the background. It is located in the highest part of this medieval village. It was restored and then well maintained although the inside is bare apart from a few frescoes were. Also the country is worth a look, small but well-preserved, typical medieval town. It's really worth it, if you like the small villages where time seems to stand still.

  • In the tour of the fortresses of Montefeltro can't miss the fortress of Montefiore Conca. Nicely restored, offers the visitor a beautiful view of the life time of court intrigues and of medieval defensive structure. Interesting archaeological excavations which allowed us to reconstruct in detail the customs of that time. The numerous boards mounted on rollers help the visitor to understand the meaning of the visit. A particular compliment to the young lady at the ticket booth that shows with dedication making the visit. Thank you.

  • I said, nice and impressive with high walls nor too difficult to achieve, even here there is a climb on foot but it's something for everyone and after the ascent you can enjoy spectacular scenery, then if you run into a clear day with a bit of wind, from the top of the rock you can see very well the sea and even acknowledge that cylindrical building located in Portoverde , the Marina of Misano Adriatico. The road to get there is not of the easiest, narrow, full of twists and turns, but definitely worth it. For lunch I'd seen only a restaurant located in the square at the foot of the rock but which, in my case, it was closed for inventory so we had to fall back on the usual flatbread that anyway in those areas is always great no matter where you eat. The castle of Montefiore Conca is definitely worth a visit.
