  • Bolsena Lake at the foot of the rock and the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Margherita, third largest in Italy, serve as an appetizer to a breathtaking: the clear and sunny day allowed the eye to wander from one side to the sea with the Argentario promontory on the right background, while on the opposite side you could even make a clear distinction between the mountains of Abruzzo with the majestic Gran Sasso highlights thanks to its white peaks. Shame we could not take advantage of the bonus offered by the view of the Tower, at that time closed to the public.

  • Place on top of the village has breathtaking views from one side of Lake Bolsena on the other, the Cathedral and the countryside. Interesting also the regional wine charming..

  • On a cold winter day midweek, sky kept clear by a light Tan, looking north on Lake Bolsena with its islands and countries bathed by her soft waters. Silence around, charming atmosphere. Meditative.

  • Stupenda vista sul lago di Bolsena.
  • La Rocca dei Papi is surely the most beautiful attraction of Montefiascone. Perched on top of the Hill on which stands the city offers absolutely unequaled in the near Bolsena Lake and all the neighbouring hills and valleys. Inside the fortress is a museum that unfortunately we couldn't visit, on the other hand we could climb the Tower of the pilgrim who, being the highest point, offers 360-degree views of both the city below it on the rest of the territory. The space in front of the fortress there is a nice garden where you can find shelter from the summer sun. At the base of the rock is also a refined wine cellar where you can taste wines and other local delicacies.
