  • The Cathedral of Santa Margherita, named after the patron saint of Montefiascone, is one of the most important churches of the province a larger domes nationwide (27 m in diameter) and is recognised by almost every town of Tuscia and of the province of Viterbo. It is the third largest in Italy to be exact after Saint Peter in Rome and Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence and Bramante style. The work was entrusted to Carlo Fontana who achieved a dome closer aesthetic needs of his time after a terrible fire had damaged the previous coverage, giving Montefiascone a dome that would have featured the panorama of the country in a decisive way. Octagonal has seven chapels

  • Large beautiful church with splendid dome placed between the Center and the rock, it is very impressive to see.

  • Vast and beautiful octagonal Cathedral which stands out unexpected in the small village of Montefiascone. There are accessed from a parking lot at the base of the country. If you can get there on foot from the square, the thing a bit absurd about this village is that it has pedestrian zones, you pass in your car anywhere you park anywhere, dangerous and at the edge of civilization.
