Daarna in de kelder goed kunnen proeven van de wijnen, je kan o... more »Upon arrival a concise explanation was provided concerning Vin Santo, this was a nice change for us because we already knew the wine process. Then in the basement be able to taste the wines, you can make filling up! Also the appetizers were very tasty and fit well with the wines. The guide was very relax and knew what he was talking about.

E’ possibile fare un giro per la propr... more »We visited the farm of Tense over a weekend in July 2017. The property is immense and covers approximately 50 hectares, of which 20 are cultivated with vineyards. You can take a stroll around the property to see first hand the different grape varieties including coltivani whites Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Vermentino, Trebbiano and Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon reds, Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah. The main building consists of a beautiful antique building where both tastings of the wines are made of local dishes. The special feature of being able to eat in historic cellar of conservation in tables nestled among the huge and ancient wooden barrels is unmatched. In our case we tasted delicious appetizers including definitely are the chickpea salad and cod, garlic bread with beans and sausage, bruschetta with Zucchini cream and Bacon, some local cheese seasoned with honey and finally the inevitable pappa al pomodoro. First great tagliatelle with wild boar and for dessert an exceptional vinsanto flavoured custard. All the dishes were tasted by matching certain wines produced by fattoria del Teso. Specifically it was whites Montecarlo and Vermentino, Anfidiamante and exceptional red Monte Carlo and vinsanto (2001). The wines are all about quality, very pleasant and fragrant whites, great reds with surely the more structured and durable Anfidiamante of Monte Carlo red and therefore more suitable for dishes made with venison. A note on special must be done at vinsanto (I would say the real vinsanto and not as many that are on the market) really one of the best ever tasted that is aged for at least 10 years (now for sale directly from the Winery is located on 2001 and then with ben 16 years of ageing). The opportunity to visit the premises where the drying of the grapes for the production of vinsanto is not to be missed. Here you will find the reed mats for drying grapes on the first floor and the barrels for aging of Vin Santo on the second floor and in the attic. Finally, anyone who loves food and wine, good wine and good food must make a stop at the farm of Uptight where he read the excellent quality of the wines and will be definitely surprised by the beauty of the places that surround it.

Beautiful area and we had a great wine tasting with appetizers.
Amazing wine. If you are anywhere in Tuscany it is worth stopping by. My wife and I went to try some of the wines and ended up eating a 6 course meal while sampling all of the wines. Half way through we thought oh no how much is this going to cost. Surprise surprise when we got done it was about $25 per person. Great wine.
The Lord was very careful to arrange us in the wind-like landscape of the garden, long table filled with virgin olive olive oil and incense spray of handmade bread, the features of each of the three wines included DOCG red wine and white wine, and the last to be served with the aromatic pork ribs of Tuscany to perfect the wine and the heart.
