  • Large Residence situated opposite the chair lift which allows you to ski in the entire area (about 60 Km of trails), then more comfortable in this respect. The tracks are red and some black so don't suitable for beginners. For the blue slopes or do you use always and only the baby on the site or you have to move by car (about 8 Km) to reach 1700 metres, at the end of the district, to find the blue ones. Located about an hour's drive from Bergamo. The road to get there is winding and very steep so it is not convenient to go often. So do the shopping in a supermarket in the Valley, although there are two small groceries in the adjacent complex Valgrande and near The square that are discreetly furnished and with prices not so high. Upon arrival, you will find only one roll of toilet paper, but no SOAP, detergents etc. The residence is very big and beautiful: common corridors are not well maintained and don't lay right because the walls and carpets are dirty, my apartment, however, wasn't bad. Had a bunk at the entrance, with a lineup very uncomfortable and only suitable for young, two single beds in a room divided only by a curtain and a double sofa bed in the living room. We are a family of four, that was fine, but for six people would be too small. There is also a small kitchenette with a sufficient number of victuals, small fridge (no freezer). There is a microwave or hair dryer but the latter, on request, give it to the reception. There is also a small balcony and central heating. The apartment is renovated, clean and welcoming. The residence also has parking spaces below are covered, but when the area is crowded, all posteggiano there and you may not get a seat. At the reception, only common place where you can stay, there is a pool table and table tennis. The open, however, for lunch and dinner you can afford, legitimately, to staff, to eat. Should, however, in my view, make sure you leave it open anyway for clients, which instead so are forced, in those circumstances, to stay in the room or outside ... and perhaps put a TV ... ... because it is the only place of residence with the WIFI. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also the entertainment, they too friendly, but when I went I wasn't working because there were very few. In the residence there is also the ticket for plants, Montecampione ski schools and Foderal offices, shop for rent, all with helpful and very friendly. There are also bars, restaurants, shops etc. In nearby residence Valgrande there is a grocery store and a restaurant/pizzeria. A little further on, there is also the restaurant/pizzeria Legazzuolo and, later, the restaurant La Piazzetta, the best around. It is a tourist area and not a country. Nearby you can visit Lake Iseo, the Park of the rock drawings in Valcamonica (UNESCO site) and Bergamo. I mean, the place is not bad and a happy return.

  • Already limited area, which during the week (Monday, 8 January-Friday 12) affords the luxury of shutting all plants except two chairlifts in 1800 (larch, Plan) and the tiny del campetto to 1200. The most serious thing is that ridiculous rationalizations, like that of cards burned by lightning storm ever existed. The chairlift that climbs from 1200 closed from Tuesday 9 January to date to be determined. This makes it impossible to move from 1800 to 1200. I was missing from 12 years in Brisbane and I witnessed a dramatic collapse that is mainly due to a bad management of the ski lifts. If you think about the savings and profits always, inevitably, in the long run there lose all. Greetings from a customer extremely disappointed, who wished to spend what once was known as the "week of the skier" at this location. If you continue so, failure is inevitable.

  • It's a nice place for skiing ... If they open the facilities (snow permitting) ... Is quite organized for families. There are bars and little shops. The apartments are comfortable and spacious. Rentals at attractive prices. But. ... Little to do for those who don't ski! The pool is closed ... Gym? No thanks... Solarium? Boh!
