  • The umbra forest is one of the most beautiful places of puglia in totally. Plants animals and all are part of fantastic scenery.

  • If you love nature is a place where you can't not go there, towering trees, vegetation so thick you can't see even the sunlight in some places, if you go in summer there is a pretty cool, in winter a little less suitable. Really nice.

  • The forest is umbra (shady) really seems to have a roof of trees overhead. Even at places where you pass by car Heaven you see choppy. You feel lost and almost overwhelmed by the force of this forest. In Italy there are very few Woods so dense, it really is a special feature to see. Might be handled a little better, it would be nice to have somewhere a bit organized (with some small table to eat) and some reporting in the streets.

  • Very nice walking paths into the woods. Grab a map for 3 euros at the tourist info point, and ask the local guide the best path for you. We followed a 3 hours path and it was very nice.
  • Beautiful park! Views are amazing. "Must see" in Gargano Area!
  • Nice to cool off a bit - on the other hand, the forest looks like the forests from northern Europe !
  • Great for a day in a natural area
  • It would be enough to know that it is the second largest Forest in Europe, rich in natural species of the most important things to know. A great resource for humanity.
