  • Before arriving at the Castle, not everyone knows that there is immediately near the village after a fountain theatre of ancient legends, a small church of San Rocco, which perched on the road is like a silent guardian on passers-by rushed. The façade and the Boulder at the front door, reported by the Alpini from Oropa who have all restored are from the modern era, but the frescoes inside with their rich symbolism Templar, Celtic, Egyptian are very typical of the middle ages. The design that was discovered in a niche in the wall where he had been deliberately concealed fascinates visitors when the Church is open during special events or by phoning Ms Banchelli 0125 650,387. On it I did personally energy studies that demonstrate the deep spiritual significance. The castle is still + nice seen from the Church (see photo) where you can see even the guard where they attacked the horses with the sunset next door. An absolute must even if it is closed and you can't enter, x to admire the beauty of the place.

  • ... The location of this castle is exceptional, on top of a hill that dominates the area of Ivrea, its forests, lakes and the Serra morenica ... The Via Francigena to go strictly on foot, passing under us, with a glance very charming ... Mysterious, gloomy with echoes of medieval legends and stories, is open only on rare occasions. But it's nice to see that even so, from the bottom of the paths that run through the Woods.

  • The Castle sits atop a hill overlooking the 5 Lakes area at the mouth of the Valle d'Aosta. Of medieval origin with courtyard and recently restored chapel. Not always open as private, for openings visit the website of the municipality of Montalto Dora.
