  • Wafts a mysterious aura to this place full of standing stones, carved rocks, where nature has taken over, also due to the fact that there is lack of maintenance as well the signs to get there, but once there you can't get out of it, and mystical place, behind Etna, in front of the Aeolian Islands, forests everywhere and these rocks depicting, without lots of imagination , animals, faces, people, in short, to realize what is the place you have to visit it and to get carried away by the scents, the sounds of nature, by the incomparable view. Take some of the rocks and just stand there and listen to your whole being.

  • They tell you that it is a magical place, a Sicilian Stonehenge, a place of ancient rituals and rites: in fact it is nature to have carved the stones of the Argimusco in ways that are striking and bizarre. And it is pleasant to see forms of men, women and animals and photograph them as the light and the location it is constantly changing its appearance. Ample parking for campers, to visit in silence, meditating and letting myself be influenced by the words of a good guide.

  • A magical place, located on top of the plateau of the Argimusco. The rock formations, which vaguely recall some animal and human figures, are of great impact. The views of Etna and the volcano itself, are worth the price of the trip. Unfortunately, like many other spectacular places in Sicily, the site is abandoned to itself and the maintenance is absent. The entrance to the site is free (no garrison present, if not a faded map on a sign at the entrance). Along the way to reach it you can stop to observe the curious tholoi (tholos), small stone buildings, funerary, whose rounded structure array of likely remembers the igloos.
