  • We were there on 16/10 on the occasion of FAIMARATHON (although can be visited all year) and didn't disappoint. From here one can see the Valtellina to pull in a pretty incredible scenery. Easy to drive and well marked, the castle is reduced to a minimum but you can appreciate the grandeur of the building. There are several fixed signs that demonstrate vazie areas so you can rebuild the remains of the place. The only drawback of the visit (and I say this as a FAI) is the total lack of staff which, at least on a day as important, could accommodate visitors for guided tours. Also the refreshment place alongside was found closed and several people have had words of disappointment for these deficiencies

  • I was there on a beautiful sunny day. We were greeted very cordially to this lovely place, from another time. We take a seat outside under the bunches of grapes. Amazing place. When the morning we booked we also booked the pizzoccheri. We had lunch with products and local specialties. Pizzoccheri superlatives. Excellent wine cellar. Friendly caring staff who explained the various dishes. Peaceful environment. Cost for the quality of the place and the food. Highly recommended.

  • Magnificent place that permits perfect view over the town of Sondrio. The best time to visit is in the evening, too bad for some reason unknown to me at 18.00 hours are closed the gates and is impossible to get.
