  • The old cathedral, dedicated to Santa Giustina, struck me above all for the frescoes, very beautiful, and for its panoramic position in which it is located. It's in late Romanesque style, with some Gothic elements in the decorations. Very simple and beautiful the façade, embellished by the Pronaos, the central rose window, two mullioned Windows and stone relief sculpture. The Interior has a single nave, is rich, as I said, remains of frescoes, paintings, reliefs and the beautiful polyptych with Santa Giustina. Just outside, on the road to the sanctuary of the seven churches, a "balcony" overlooking the city and the surrounding countryside, with beautiful scenery. Well worth the visit and the walk to get there!!!

  • The Church of Santa Giustina, or old cathedral, is located along the road from the castle of Monselice leads to the top of the Hill. Forecourt offers a nice view over the city and the Euganean Hills. The architectural structure of the Church is in Romanesque style. Within particularly striking the apse with frescoes and the Polyptych of Santa Giustina (15th century).
