  • Very interesting the remains visited under the Cathedral. The Guide took us to a fair price on this visit explaining many things about the history of monopolies and the Madonna della Madia. You just have to be lucky enough to find an open crypt because it is managed by volunteers don't always is, but just call to get organized.

  • Cathedral excavations represent a step into history of monopoly. The remains of a village of huts, a grave messapica per room as in the nearby Egnatia, the apse of a Christian Church of the first centuries after Christ's evidence explaining the roots of the city. With the help of the guides, you can admire a very impressive Norman lintel.
