  • In 1990 I first saw this church for several years finding a State of disrepair. Now I am happy that this church after so long, was restored and opened to the public.

  • Church on the walk the walls in front of the port. The same has been the subject of major restoration of the façade. Which allowed the reopening. Unfortunately the interiors need renovation work as part of the exterior facades. The Church is used for art exhibitions.

  • I am not originally from here for about 8 years now Monopolies but alive (and the first I passed them in the old town) and I must say that this church overlooking the sea has always fascinated me! I was always sent a no I know of melancholy in seeing her in a State of disrepair and that could not be restored to its original appearance. Congratulations to the Association for the work that today has been done and to all initiatives seeking to play to attract visitors and don't let it lapse again!! Mystery and adventure can be felt inside the Church ... on the website of the Association says that the popular tradition tells that the Church was built by a captain of a pirate ship escaped with all his crew a shipwreck and therefore turned to the sea and dedicated to San Salvatore. VISIT!!
