  • The castle is well maintained, its definitely worth it to inspect it. It can be reached in 15 minutes on foot from Monguelfo

  • The castle is very nice, well maintained and quite silent outside the whirl of thousands of tourists. Deserves a ride and spending time in the Woods around the Castle

  • We went back with pleasure after several years visiting this small but beautiful and ancient castle. We were pleasantly surprised by the perfect state of repair of the premises inside the city walls and the interesting, albeit short, cultural and historical learning path that winds along the various rooms with a very useful guidebook (conveyed at the entrance and included in the price). Admission adults € 3.00. Very suggestive position surrounded by greenery at the entrance of the Val Casies. Is easily reached on foot from Monguelfo with beautiful and easy pedestrian route that develops partly in the woods of the Castle and partly (back) on bike path along a nice stream. Stage highly recommended for families with children.

  • Well-preserved and beautiful castle, which can be visited in the summer

  • It is the historic residence of the Duke of Welsperg, who reigned in the area since the beginning of 1700. The main activity of the area was the extraction of semi-precious metals. It's nice to see how the local administration has kept in good condition and Castle converted into a venue for cultural events. It's particularly impressive when viewed at night, illuminated, in the Woods.
