  • Beautiful place to visit, the theater with stadium seating with ergonomic backrests, arches that delimited the scenes of theatre ... little has been revealed relative to true archaeological heritage that you buried! Breathtaking when you sit on the chair backs!

  • Is the highest architectural complex of the genus 1,000 m altitude arose about a century BC the semicircle of seats still well preserved and has a special feature, in fact the first three rows have a back that could be called, the other two files without. Is local and grey stone, by features reminiscent of Hellenistic theaters. In the middle of summer is still used for plays, but, given the altitude, only for a short period, usually mid-July early August.

  • The focal point in the archaeological site of Pietrabbondante. ... is the theatre. From the Amphitheater seats undergone hits that are ergonomic, in stone. And you imagine it was a moving part when there were events.

  • Very interesting place. But not enough highlighted
  • Pietrabbondante: "In Molise, between stone cyclopean boulders (" Morge "), at the foot of the excellent Caraceno is a village that has preserved Pietrabbondante, traces of its ancient history, giving life to a real part of the soul, with an original narrative and a cultural heritage of immense value. At Pietrabbondante, in fact, are still present the remains of the fortifications on the mountain excellent Caraceno and, immediately after the Samnite, a vast archaeological area rich in artifacts, buildings and ruins. In this place the Sanniti built a cultic complex consisting of an amphitheatre (the only one like this in Italy), a temple and two buildings on either side of the latter. Visit this place means going back in time many centuries, breathing ancient atmospheres that miraculously are not lost. A curiosity: the old town, medieval, was built with the stones and the finds from archaeological site. "
