  • Only galeriaestense in the building at an additional cost and after the facility is free of charge. I think free are impressive, so think about time and schedule.

  • Magnificent 18th century building with entrance in Piazza Sant'Agostino. Hosts numerous collections, including the estense Gallery, la Biblioteca estense, lapidary, the Civic Museum of history

  • Focal point of Largo di porta Sant'Agostino, is the perfect container for the Museums of Modena and Galleria Estense. I think the earthquake damage four years ago still funestino the beauty of the place (judging from the hideous crane peeping from wherever you look), but the collection is worthwhile. The nearby church of Saint Augustine is closed which is a shame, for a fee, but a walk through the courtyard and on the stairs leading to the Estense Gallery are free and allow you to get an idea of the architecture of this place. A look is to be given.

  • Valuable exhibitions of various themes. Exploring the strategic position you should spend 2-3 hours on this Museum!

  • Adjacent parking viale vittorio veneto via tassoni and great 50 metre novi sad Park, I'd say that problems do not exist.

  • The building externally it has spoiled. In the museum complex is divided into several sections. Recommend to visit one or two sections because too challenging. Just choose the section. I suggest the painting section. the galleria estense specifically. A sumptuous collection of paintings of varying size medium-large x mainly. There are also examples of sculpture and musical instruments. Point out the presence of the bust of Francis I work of Berini where the author express absolutely his virtuosity in sculpturing. The lace and lace collar is fabulous. Also point out a work of "the Greek". Just great. The art gallery has spacious. The exhibition and well developed. Good descriptions of the work. Missing audio guide.

  • No surprise the many things. Even more surprising the municipal archive.
