  • Beautiful facade, you can get in free, inside (Secchia Rapita) subtracted according to tradition from Modena to Baldwin at the battle of Zappolino 1325. Open FIRE Hall and the Baroque Hall of the old Council and the tapestry Room.

  • I find it very interesting and right that the municipalities of large cities give the possibility to admire their salt both residents and tourists. Next to the Cathedral is the town hall where you can see some of the rooms including the Hall of fire with the frescos painted in 1546 and the Hall of the old advice where is the banner painted by Ludovico in 1633 as a Thanksgiving for the end of the plague. Inside the Town Hall in the upper part under the roof for several years is also the municipal vinegar works where you can visit after you buy unesco Euro 6.00 ticket at the tourist office. This ticket includes the visit to the Museum of the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina Tower.

  • Leads to the Town Hall by a staircase from the portico in piazza Grande. The visit is included in ticket Unesco (Ghirlandina, Cathedral Museum and Town Hall). The building is not large: according to me the most interesting room is the Sala del Fuoco. In this room was always on a Brazier from which people could pick up the embers to activate your home fire.
