  • Old Archbishop's Palace is located right opposite the Cathedral. Perhaps the idea of the architect was to high-ranking persons do not spend a lot of time on the move? Access to the Palace is usually not, visit is possible only during special events. What remains? Just take a photo of the façade.

  • Only on rare occasions. I got to visit it for a Conference a few Saturdays ago. Gorgeous courtyard and harmonious. Going up the stairs, there is a splendid view from above of Course the Duomo and the beautiful façade of the Cathedral. The Interior is sober, frescoed in parts. Very nice living room overlooking piazza grande.

  • If you sit on a bench in front of the façade of the Cathedral of Modena, Archbishop's Palace is on the right side. This ancient stone house of medieval appearance with coats of arms, flags and other paraphernalia. Oddly enough, on the first floor of the Palace-shops.
