  • Just outside the city centre you find this beautiful monastery. Simple and a little dark inside, but bellino. Remarkable body painting. There is also a "shop" where there are products made by the monks.

  • We are in Modena for one day and decide to follow a mix of recommended routes by the city with billboards r travel guide. We enter in the Abbey in the hope of seeing the cloister but unfortunately it is closed. We visit the Renaissance church anyway that I find beautiful since remodeled several times. Then I went out by the magnificence of the Cathedral! The positive side is la piccola bottega degli speziali Benedictines. We are greeted with a nice good night and already we have. Dear (the Benedictine? He had no religious symbols and wore a plain Sweatshirt) allows us to buy a Benedictine, great craft beer and explains a bit of culture of balsamic vinegar ... and there is taste of different tipi...il 25 years awesome .... now after more than an hour I still have good taste in your mouth.

  • If you love Emilian plastic Begarelli in particular ... If you are curious of Renaissance painting modenese here you have to be planning a visit soon after that is where Cathedral Begarelli grew, he worked not just leaving sculptures of great beauty in the nave in "altar of statues". Even the canvases of art contained in it are many and important authors including Ludovico Lana and Scarsellino and for those who love literature a tribute to Matt T in front of his grave is always possible. The Museum and the pharmacy are an integral art of the visit.

  • With the Coro Alpino "Monte Orsaro" I sang several times in this splendid church and I must say it is always a great pleasure to do so. Maybe a bit much reverb, when the Church is full of people, makes fast songs a little "confused", but for the choristers singing is extremely natural.
