  • Wonderful staff who were passionate about educating on balsamic vinegar. They spoke great English and were helpful in helping us pick out the right balsamic for our taste. The tasting is €5 per person but is waived if you purchase a bottle.
  • Great tasting experience and u could feel the passion for the staff on introducing and explaining the vinegar. Unique xp to try in different producers work. Highly recommended! We bought 2 aged vinegar without hesitation !
  • The ladies working here are very friendly. I came through first with a food tour, where we got to try a bunch of balsamic vinegar made by different producers. We also learned about how balsamic is made, and what makes traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena even better. I came back later with gelato so that I could try some on it as well as purchase a bottle. At that time I heard them say that it costs €5 for just a tasting if you don't purchase anything and if you do purchase something than that cost is erased. I bought 3 bottles and I didn't want to deal with transporting the fragile things to the US, so I paid them to ship it. It cost €50 euro in my case, but it depends on how many you get. I would highly recommend visiting for the educational experience. It is also the only city in the world where you can find a shop like this. Most balsamic vinegar shops here will let you sample, but only their product. This allows place allows you to taste the product of multiple producers because they all taste a little different.
  • Great experience and delicious product! Staff spoke great English and was very welcoming. A must see!
  • One of the highlights of our trip, not only for the excellent product, but also for the friendly, knowledgeable and passionate people who works there. Rossella and Cristina took their time to explain the production process, different producers and flavours, and by the end of the tasting we felt we were among long time friends! Highly recommended, but don’t just go for the product. Get to know the people behind it, they are just as good (if not better) than the aceto! That’s what makes travelling worth it. Our daughters loved the experience and we know where to get our aceto from now on! Grazie Rossella and Cristina! We’ll be back!
