  • made guided tour on 2/26/2016. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and good speaker. Very helpful and friendly even the Lieutenant who looked after us. Definitely recommend a visit, to be booked in advance.

  • It was the seat of the Court Palace built partly above and partly moved away from the ancient castle whose recent tracks were found under the square. We're in 1630 to the designs of Avanzini about recalls Montecitorio but in my opinion it is outside. Someone would see a suggestion by Bernini architect sublime. The inner courtyard is elegant and balanced, enclosed spaces are immense especially when you consider the size of the current city. Moreover the Este family owned a very large Duchy which divided Italy into two overlooking the two seas, with a Queen of England family. Frescoed halls, home to occasional exhibitions, home of the waters below. Currently houses the Military Academy is also important for the economy of the city and its history. She was friends with instruments of the geophysical Observatory's headquarters where you see the dome on one of the towers. For those coming to town is a must see at least on the outside. The rest is almost impossible not to see it ... saw the size.

  • A stunning marvel of architecture. The square that it stands on (Piazza Roma) is great for meeting up, ever since they replaced the parking lot with fountains. The palace is also impressive; a guided tour is sufficent to appreciating Modena's past.
  • nice palace in the heart of renaissance centre
  • We visited only on the outside, but it's absolutely. To see.

  • Wonderful Palace! I would absolutely recommend going there for an afternoon of art, history and culture. Just be careful in the book because it is a military building in need of a lot of data and precise.
