  • The Church is an example of Baroque architectural style bright, bright exterior and interior with lots of decorative items. Access to the Interior is possible as we realized only during Sunday morning services.

  • The temple is located in Corso Kanal′grande, before reaching the via Emilia. His huge pink facade with white columns, it is impossible not to notice. The Interior is decorated with frescoes of painter Sigismondo Center Kaula (the second half of the 17th century), which were partly destroyed and irretrievably lost in the bombing of the temple May 13, 1944 years. In the year 2014 away again and picture of Guercino stole. The temple is open only on Sunday mornings.

  • Unexpected chance lucky. .. on Saturday morning, taking advantage of the end of a religious service and – above all – the caretaker's kindness that she obligingly opened (private visit!) the Chapel to the right of the transept, the so called ' Este ' shrine where rest all the Dukes of Este (except the last one) the Church is still an example of Baroque – that is not among my favorite styles – very rich and sumptuous in friezes but not so heavy as in other churches. Contains some works of merit but on the first altar on the left we can ruefully acknowledge the copy of ' Holy conversation ' by Guercino ("Madonna with the Saints John the Evangelist and Gregorio Thaumaturgic"), in fact the original-masterpiece-was stolen. Visit we recommend. Information: normally open only on Sunday morning (or functions).
