  • I visited on several occasions the Roman Villa of Minori. Day view, so without an experienced guide, uninspiring that much ... because unfortunately, it is not well kept, mold on the floor, a great deal of humidity, even the same "viridarium" (garden) is not cured. Unfortunately it is not the fault of those who work there, because from what little I understand are all volunteers, they do their utmost to make it acceptable and visitabile...ci Radin in an evening in which there was in the small village of Minori a beautiful event cultural, gastronomic ... open villa, wonderful theatrical performance within it. lights and shadows, magical atmosphere ... looks different and better than the first time. from one of the guards lean on a few guided from there shortly, and the following day, I tag along to a group there. Special opening night with guide. This man, knowledgeable guide in the area, nothing short of amazing and fun, has been able to transport us all to the Imperial period, where the emperors built their villas in sea areas. We visit rooms is prohibited to the public ' of the domus. From the spa area to walk under the arcades, rooms inside the rooms, until arriving to the beautiful stone stairs (from the steps which change geometry). Exciting, but at the same time, also very sad as everyone needs a big clean up and a good restoration. Unfortunately, because of all of this is little valued, shame really. I recommend it, but with a guide, good as I found it that made me appreciate so much what was once a beautiful villa patrizia.
