  • I was able to admire this villa directly from the inside and I was struck by the beauty, highly recommended

  • The 18th century villa was built, designed by Francesco Croce, Clerici, enriched with the silk trade. Then completely renovated in 1927, the family moved to villa Melzi. The property consists of a main building, dominated by the mezzanine Salon said '' Cappuccina '', the villa is one of the few remaining witnesses of the past of this area of Milan.

  • Other locations can be visited free of charge thanks to the extraordinary opening of the Milan Open House event and the volunteers who guide. Villa Clerici is a surprising place that you do not expect to find in the city of Milan town fabric. Built between 1722 and 1733 on likely designed by the architect Francesco Croce, was commissioned by Giorgio Clerici to celebrate the social ascent of his family. This was the time when Villa reached the height of its splendor and its notoriety, and was renamed "Villa of delights in Niguarda land". The architectural ensemble presents a characteristic U-shaped pattern consists of a central building and two wings that surround the Italian garden with statues of fine workmanship. The north façade is from the scenic backdrop to the vast park with colonnades, theatrical scenes and sculptures adorning the green areas with trees and vegetation to spin. The rooms on the ground floor of the Villa welcome the sacred art gallery's permanent collection of contemporaries. Been possible to visit the main floor of the villa, with the monumental halls with original ceilings and paintings framed doors and Windows and the historical park with two outdoor theaters, one Greek and one Roman, normally not accessible to the public. The fantastic location is continuously being conservative restoration and maintenance: it would be great to watch, after his safety interventions, in musical, theatrical events etc. in two outdoor theaters that I think, excellently suited to host various events. Fantastic visit, driving well prepared ... ... ... ... in short, an opportunity not to be missed ... ... ...!
