  • Although far from my house this is a way that I frequented very young, in the 1960s, also because we lived a dear friend and schoolmate, not counting the possibility anything but remote to meet great personages of culture as Montale, Buzzati or Montanelli. So, when I'm around, I make a detour and come here "slow pede" to breathe an atmosphere far that some remained among the shops and Pastel-colored houses. I am referring in particular to the southern stretch of the street, far more animated and colorful than the North-where there is the headquarters of the "Courier"-much more empty and austere. Even those who never was before realizes that Via Solferino has maintained its precise character capable of making it particular and pleasant although not possessing monuments or other reasons. It should be remembered that a few meters from here, in Via Ancona 2 in 1926 lived Carlo Rosselli who founded together with Pietro Nenni milanese magazine "fourth estate".

  • I went over this morning in via Solferino, which was missing for some years. It seemed absolutely the same as the last visit, although some shops have been replaced by others. I'd say it's a calming thing. Absolutely identical splitting into two parts, the one closest to Brera with its shops, mainly clothing, leather goods and footwear as ever, and the portion north of Largo Treves, purely residential and with the Corriere della Sera. A sure thing!

  • Located in the Brera district, this street, about 800 meters in length, starts at Bastioni di Porta Nuova and ends at the junction with Via Pontaccio, a few metres from the Pinacoteca di Brera. It is a long, narrow street and, to my mind, very unattractive; nothing to do with the lively Corso Garibaldi, that runs parallel to it, less than 300 metres. In its first section we find a lot of restaurants, which gradually begin to run out, being replaced by shops of all kinds, all mixed with dark office buildings. It has not seemed a minimally interesting street.

  • Named the oldest restaurant in Milan. The interior is reflecting the age, it is warm and rustic. The food is excellent, should try the ravioli. Quite pricey but its proper for the good food quality
  • Very fortunate to manage to get a table here as it's extremely busy. The food was out of this world which explains how busy it is! If you can book here then I'd recommend a visit. The tiramasu is worth a visit alone
  • Excellent Italian restaurant. Great service with warm and friendly atmosphere. Food was great, everything from the burrata to the tiramisu!
  • A great little fine the food was delicious the service was great and as the girl said below yes the white truffle pasta was just as good
  • Fantastic place to eat all dishes as far as I have seen are very tasty and very well presented. I highly recommend the truffle pasta for an orgasmic experience.
