The UniCredit Tower is a skyscraper in Milan, Italy. At, it is the tallest building in Italy.The building was designed by architect Cesar Pelli and reached its full height on 15 October 2011 when the spire was attached. The building is the headquarters of UniCredit, Italy's largest bank by assets, and is part of a larger development of new residential and business structures in Milan's Porta Nuova district, near Porta Garibaldi railway station. The tower ranked eighth in the Emporis 2012, that rewards skyscrapers for excellence in their aesthetic and functional design.The Allianz Tower, at, is still the tallest building in Italy if ranked by highest usable floor.SpireIt is entirely covered with lead, the spire in addition to having a constant night lighting, can take on different colors depending on the recurrence: during the Christmas season of 2013 was lit green to represent a Christmas tree or on the night between 14 and 15 June 2014 was illuminated in red to celebrate the 150 years of Italian Red Cross. One of the usual combinations is Italian flag. Also on the evening of November 14, 2015, the spire was illuminated with the colors of the French flag in recognition of the victims of the attack at Stade de France and at the Bataclan theater in Paris, which occurred the night before. On June 13, 2016 it was illuminated with the colors of the rainbow flag to recognize the 49 victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting in Florida.

  • One of the most beautiful buildings in Milan. You don't want to miss out, who the city. :) Cons: beszerettünk have to go to the tower and when we asked the reception we received the answer that only offices are in the Tower, so it is not possible to go up. :(

  • Place to meet people and spent some time in front of the tower and enjoy the colourful dancing jet water fountain show. To reach this place you have to get train or metropolitan line M5, or M2 or suburban train and get down at the station called Garibaldi stazione, this place is called business district of Milan, below this tower is a food district, where you can get some to notch food outlets
  • The steeple was designed by Alberto Zasso and tested in the wind tunnel of Politecnico di Milan. It is beautiful by default. Anyway pay a visit here, since it is one of the most stunning building in Milan
  • Finally a skyscraper in Milan! During last years grow up few new skyscrapers in Milan and Unicredit Towers is absolutely particular and modern architecture design. It is a place to visit!
