  • This part of Castello Sforzesco museum has some nice collection of paintings. It does not contain some globally known masterpieces, but it they are worth paying a tribute. In the same rooms, interesti...  more »
  • Perhaps less known than other art galleries in Milan but just as beautiful: in its rooms the prevalence of works of painters lombardi birth or education: Vincenzo Foppa, Cortese, Bernardino Luini, Bramantino, Bambaia (one of Leonardo's present) to say the most significant; In addition to authors of great importance in the history of art, it takes the names of Antonello da Messina, Andrea Mantegna, Correggio, Bronzino, Canaletto. The exhibition is very well thought out, the works have a good visibility (although, as usual, the lights are often misplaced or insufficient); leave a little puzzled by the lack of custodians in several rooms. We did not find audio guides and, in General, the book shop we thought was rather poor. Visit highly recommended!

  • The rating takes into account the beautiful works that are present but also of disorganization that I found last Sunday on the day where the museums are free. I don't think it's right or can see the Gallery almost double. I would suggest extending the timetable at least for that single Sunday and to terminate access at least one hour before (and not half an hour) at least in order to allow a less hasty.

  • This is a big castle with a lot of museums inside. They are ancient to modern art. There is also a nice garden outside which is beautifull to visit during good weather.
  • super nice place. also the museum is very cheap like 5€ and you can see everything! go there when the sun is shining :)
  • This place is huge! I didn't expect to spend 3 hours but just walking around takes a fair chunk. Lots to see here: Michelangelo's older Pieta and plenty of other museums. Ticket is cheap and covers everything. Make a plan coz you might get lost otherwise. Some of the exhibits are huge and I found myself to be the only person in places. That tell you the scale of this popular place. Definitely worth checking out.
  • Nice castle with some interesting expositions. Worth seeing mostly for the Michelangelo's Pieta. Admission is quite cheap.
  • A very nice castle with a great park. Perfect for walks, riding bikes and picnics. It is free to roam around the castle grounds, but to visit the museums you must pay. Note that on mondays, all museums are closed. There's also an aquarium at the right side of the park, and a lovely arch at the very back of the park. I had a great experience here. Would love to come back one day.
