  • Personally, the monument dedicated to dear President Sandro Pertini, it seems to me unsuitable and miserable, as the memory of a man, at this level, deserves more than that. The monument, with irony is called '' el muster '' (the monster).

  • Via Manzoni, behind the Armani Megastore can be deep in the Park see the allegorical monument to the seventh President of the Italian Republic Sandro Pertini airport, embodied the work of this architect from Milan, Aldo Rossi. A cube with a fountain and a staircase of blocks of porphyry and pink granite was opened in 1990 year. Nice place to meet at the Metro station, Montenapoleone.)))

  • The milanese architect Aldo Rossi, Sandro Pertini monument opened in 1990, is a familiar presence at Milan and not. The dedication to the beloved President remains mysterious, certainly not for the value of the character, as opposed to a link cannot be found. But in these times so grami on behalf of Sandro Pertini already alone radiates dignity, civil and moral passion thick, even through a controversial monument. That anyway-if only to a necessary form of respect-wrong befouled and treated as a bivouac or, worse, a pigsty.

  • This monument to Sandro Pertini, the most loved president of the Republic of Italy, was set up in 1990. It's a strategic position in the "quadrilatero della moda", at the busy cross Road of Montenapoleone and Manzoni, it's a quite area to relax and meet friends in the square. After that, Giorgio Armani invested millions to create the Giorgio Armani building with hotel, restorant and luxury shop facing on this square. I recommend visiting the square in a sunny day and just seat to watch the busy road of luxury Montenapoleone. Compared to Rome, where you find many ancient monuments with fountains, there are very few fountains in Milan and probably this is the latest one built in modern times.
  • Really nice and important monument. it's meeting point for many young milan people
  • Classy material but stocky and blocks the view on what could have been a charming square.
  • Ugly monument opened in 1990 and milanese architect Aldo Rossi dedicated to 7° the President of the Italian Republic Sandro Pertini. Place in a central area of the city, in my opinion is one of the ugliest monuments in Milan. Given the importance to the person to whom it was dedicated I think you could do a lot better.

  • The architect Aldo Rossi has built the monument. In his paper, when did this project, he thought that Via dei Giardini is important in history in Milan.
