  • More than a monument is a work in microurbana scale. Configure a space to sit (the steps) and a row of trees. Elegant, with its marbles, as sometimes Aldo Rossi knew how to be.

  • Hate to see that the beloved Sandro Pertini was dedicated this massive and obtrusive, ugly monument, designed by Aldo Rossi, architect who in fact never liked me too but much rather liked to the Socialists, who governed the city, of the 1980s and 1990s. I also don't understand the meaning of dedication to Pertini of this monument/fontana (some still don't know that behind there is a fountain, or rather a "favour", which at night, hidden by the high wall of marble becomes almost a latrine for tramps and drunken tourists). He had set out years ago to remove it, but I disagree: the works must be kept, are still part of the town and marks of historical times.

  • It is a bizarre underground via Montenapoleone station ground located on stairs and wall monument. Giardini Street turn to the side and fountain, Armani is next. Sandro Pertini, who later became the 7th President of Italy during World War II anti-fascist activist, and. 1945 Mussolini and fascist leaders sent to the gallows who it may be. This monument was founded in the year that Milan was declared the uprising, and he died in 1990.
