Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive. Visitors traveling on a budget can choose from a range of top-notch B&Bs and family-operated hostels, which offer private parking and access to private outdoor space, minutes from Milan's main attractions.

  • I like this church in via Manzoni, if only because the outside is now different from all, I mean with the curved façade and inside you find yourself immersed in the one large nave which narrows towards the apse and altar in polychrome marble. I don't recall much somber as they wrote, I've seen really gloomy, if ever own this unique large aisle makes the environment more bright. Strange that no one is inside that controls as in other churches, maybe there are surveillance cameras in a place like this.

  • Metro montenapolione little but an impressive church. External view, nice; It's beautiful and historic frescoed Church.

  • almost every building of the Church in Milan-unique, and each one can say, as a work of art is no exception. One need only look at its magnificent façade

  • Beautiful church hidden in plain sight in the middle of the fashion district.
  • For those who, like me, was born in Calabria under the cloak of our Patron Saint, is a must stop in this church that makes us feel good and at peace with the world. I was born (1956) "at home" in Paola, opposite the "birthplace" of Saint Francis of Paola.

  • Beautiful and charming Baroque/Rococo built in 1728 this church is definitely worth a visit. Almost corner with via Montenapoleone, where there is an exit, it's a shame to be little publicized.

  • It is a beautiful church, slightly dark, but rich in works of art and artifacts.
