  • Green space considerably, inserted between the San Lorenzo Basilica and that of Sant'Eustorgio. What is striking-in addition to the story that sees this famous place for the witch hunt-are the murals: real works of art in the open air. Not to be missed.

  • Piazza Vetra now known that it is the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore. And for a long time, centuries ago, in 1200, square houses were tanners, and even earlier here burned women, which recognized the sorceresses and witches. It is hard to imagine now, sitting on the lawn or in the Café next to the Basilica.

  • The area itself is interesting kolonadoj 4 or 5 centuries, which barely survived. Right from Colonnade opens on unremarkable appearance at the church built on the spot whether a temple, baths in the same period. The Church should be around to be a beautiful park where it is very pleasant to sit on a bench on a sunny day. And here is from this park, you can make some great photos of the Church itself, which is rather similar to if application from different centuries and periods when the enlarged church tower, room or just the wall.
