Trip Planner:   Europe  /  Italy  /  Lombardy  /  Milan  /  Peck
Indulge in gourmet food at a historical location when you visit Peck. Browse the main floor where you can choose among fresh meat, cheese, bread, preserves, dressings, pasta, sauces, olive oils, and an array of desserts. Go downstairs to choose from the assortment of wines, or head upstairs for coffee, tea, and treats in the cafe. You can sit down for a meal in the restaurant or enjoy a coffee shop atmosphere. This is not a place to look for a bargain on food, but a destination to treat yourself to quality goods. To plan Milan vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

  • Buenisima the Cotoletta Alla Milanese, although all the menu is recommended. The handmade pasta and service makes want to return.

  • Interesting upscale food market but not as extensive as I expected. I guess there are so many great food halls these days but this is an old classic. Tried a few things and the quality is great - as are the prices. Displays were nice but not as elaborate as I had imagined they would be. For most people this would be a 5 star - both of us being chefs and in the food biz - it was just a notch down for us.
  • Great upmarket food market with a long standing tradition. From cheeses to olive oils to wines. Never been disappointed.
  • Wonderful old-style bistro with a great range of Italian products. Very high-end with prices which reflect that.
  • Upmarket long established food store. Great choice too. Not cheap but quality never is.
  • Absolutely amazing store and restaurant with all the best of the Italian kitchen and more. Should note that it is very expensive, but probably worth the visit if you`re a foodie, even if you don`t mean to spend much.

Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive.
