Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive. Visitors traveling on a budget can choose from a range of top-notch B&Bs and family-operated hostels, which offer private parking and access to private outdoor space, minutes from Milan's main attractions.

  • There we are ... Starting from the fact that it's not craft (the same exact eat cheesecake muffins in Padua as industrialist!!) you expect lowest prices. For the same price you go to other well more popular bars and definitely don't eat industrial brioche or similar. The staff, except for a guy maybe, very rude. Barely say hello. Also no!!!

  • Changed the management and renewed the furnishings, this pastry has maintained high product quality, expressed through ingredients, fragrance and fantasy, such as chocolate preparations in all variations, or shortbread and pastries.

  • I take 6 mignon pastries, ask him how much can cost you, answer me 42 per kilo (I would say too), in any case, not knowing how they can weigh a pasta I ask him to tell me a figure in euros to get an idea, answer me so rude, 42 per kg. At the end I pay nearly 10 euros and the pastas were not even bad, but rudeness and cost have led the ' no ' vote.

  • Historic pasticceria in Milan, recently joined the coffee Saddam and changed the look, which became more modern. Although the original one had quite the allure, the new furniture has the advantage to make it look more spacious. Unchanged is the quality of the desserts, always the highest. Great fantastic panettone and pandoro for Christmas and Easter colomba: I buy them here for years and I've never been disappointed. Not too sweet and tastes divine. For me it's The pastry for traditional sweets.
