  • Is a historical milanese Bakery, offering high quality desserts! Apart from that only already upon entering you are greeted by a wonderful smell of cakes and pastries! The "chocolate cake with Pears", to be missed! And then all the assorted pastries is still great and cool!! Highly recommended!

  • Historic bakery in Milan. Huge assortment of pastries, cookies and cakes, all very delicious and inviting. The biscuits have caught my attention and I made up. Good and not heavy! Honest price, the quality it deserves!

  • Stories of greed: I entered this bakery to buy some ice cream for my boyfriend admitted to Gaetano Pini (near the hospital). Take a bowl weight 500 g and ask that you give us some little bowl to offer ice cream to other patients. Clearly articulate the thing to the order that gives us 4 ramekins of paper (normal ones from ice cream) and a cone. My boyfriend's father (a Lord) asks if he has something to contribute to Cone and cups and miss the charges well 5 euros more over 12 of ice cream! 4 cups and a cone 5 euros! My question (post continues with politeness) why did pay these things, I was told: "it is one thing to a cone or a Cup, but when they are 4 cups must be paid". My boyfriend's father smiled at me and made me realize that he did not wish to discuss but they left out the expletives. Bad service stories: the cream was already very soft (cylindrical cooler pans were inexplicably without the classic cover) and the Lady's well thought of merely lay the styrofoam tray cover without secure nor put scotch. Result: 12 euros to 200 metres and ice cream in paper cups in the mash to a useless euros each. At least for ice cream are best avoided.

  • Historic pasticceria in Milan, recently joined the coffee Saddam and changed the look, which became more modern. Although the original one had quite the allure, the new furniture has the advantage to make it look more spacious. Unchanged is the quality of the desserts, always the highest. Great fantastic panettone and pandoro for Christmas and Easter colomba: I buy them here for years and I've never been disappointed. Not too sweet and tastes divine. For me it's The pastry for traditional sweets.

Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive. Visitors traveling on a budget can choose from a range of top-notch B&Bs and family-operated hostels, which offer private parking and access to private outdoor space, minutes from Milan's main attractions.
