  • La falda in Milan is about a-8 m. In the years ' 50/' 60 has sought to extract alluvial gravel to build ugly barracks of the suburbs. Were these 4 cave that the struggles of the milanese population tore to speculation and have become "Parco delle cave" green more complicated in a context of armed forces and Baggio (Bosco in città ...). Inside were farmhouses that still cultivate the land for the Park. Flora and fauna have taken their place, it's nice to see Mallards, grebes, Coots ponds, swans, egrets, herons, birds of prey, but also rats all together to re-create an ecosystem on the edge of town. Just a ray of sunshine to be crowded with families, joggers, people studying or sunbathing. The last attempt by distorting it was a few years ago with the Expo project thankfully rescued him struggles and judiciary.

  • C they once were, around Milan, many sand and gravel quarries. On all fields, trees and varied fauna. Now this area combines via delle Forze Armate, Baggio (of which you see among the fronds prominently the campanile), the Park's Mound of San Siro and Trenno. A route you can follow by bike, on foot, jogging between ancient vegetation skillfully described, lakes and ponds (the old), herons, hawks and other farm animals in the farmyards of original farmhouses leave available for picnics .......

  • I have always frequented the Parco Delle Cave what happened to peace and tranquility in the city ... very large green areas with ponds in spring make you dream ... where you can ride a bike or walk where you can lie down and sunbathe on the lawn in peace where You can bring your own dog for walks ... ... There is an important ecosystem as around the ponds that I believe are 4 there are reeds where they find the right habitat many bird species of ducks coots and very altro.....si can find also of refreshment or circles of elders who come together to spend spring and summer days and cool. Recommend to visit this park because it is truly a piece of paradise in the middle of the metropolis that is Milan.

  • Amazing place where spend your time reading a book, enjoy nature or just go for a quiet walk surrounded by the green.
  • Great for those who want to kick back and fish in complete tranquility. Very large park and greener than Trenno. Be careful when you Park, due to a nail on the ground once I wash the wheel of car. ..

  • Nice place to stroll. The path to walk or run is long and there are some ponds. In addition, there are picnic areas with tables etc.
