  • This palace is itself enough reason to be seen, but it also has some very nice paintings and pieces of furniture. Usually it houses costumes, but when we visited it, it was hosting a temporary exhibit...  more »

  • I attended opening day of the Manolo Blahnik exhibit an hour before closing in January and it was practically empty. (Also, the entry fee drops from 10 euros down to 6 at 16:30). What a wonderful way to see his beautiful sketches and shoes up close! The building itself is beautiful, and the museum has a focus on art and fashion, which I highly recommend to anyone.
  • Surprisingly this was the only Fashion Museum in Milan. Although fairly small in comparison to other museum, it houses substantial collection of 10-20th century fashion pieces. I wish it had more of a diverse collection from modern designers, but it's worth a visit. If you're a student under the age of 25, you'll get a discount.

  • Great historic building, often with interesting expositions inside.
  • I think it should be a museum that epitomizes the fashion phenomenon linked to Milan. Could be the idea for a National Museum on a par with that of cinema, for example. Milan could point a lot, even more than now, on tourism related to fashion and fashion shows and an interactive museum and perhaps even with this issue could become a world attraction. The museo del palazzo Morando is not none of that, however offers a nice experience to the visitor.
