  • The palazzo Marino is a work of the architect Galeazzi Alessi with job openings in the mid 1500 's before being remade in the late 1800 's (1892). It was commissioned by Thomas Marino (merchant and banker genovese) Currently hosts exhibitions of all kinds. Interesting façade from piazza della Scala.

  • The Interior of the Palazzo Marino is a treasure to be discovered for who's already been. That's why I visited again in August and in the last few days. I went back this morning because today there are two excellent reasons to go: 1) the Madonna della Misericordia, valuable painting which is part of the polyptych made by Piero della Francesca from 1445 to 1462 and considered one of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance (exposed in Alessi Hall until January 8, 2017); 2) the monumental crib in Basilicata, that master Francis Abel has made setting the magnificent landscapes between the Sassi di Matera and Lucan (exhibited in the courtyard of honor until January 6, 2017). Both events are free of charge. * visited on December 6, 2016 *

  • Wonderful palace, home of the city council. One of the 4 best monuments of Milan, if you have the opportunity you must see the interior of the building.
  • Great design, we didn't have time to explore the interior but the facade was great.
