  • This early 17th century Baroque palace is located within the fashion district in Milan. Nowadays, it serves as the archive of the state. Despite not being able to enter it, we were able to appreciate ...  more »
  • Very interesting to visit, the Palazzo del Senato offers often the added value of interesting exhibits as singular. So after the thrilling view on women's suffrage in 1946, days ago he was held another, no less significant, entitled "Cibum nostrum". And this was an opportunity really tempting to know better, in addition to the Italian people, the dense story of this building and its fine architecture, without forgetting that this is also the Milan Office of the State archives, irreplaceable as valuable source of historical information. The colourful flower beds that will brighten up the façade.

  • This beautiful baroque palace on via Senato was built in the style of the counter to be the seat of the Swiss school. During the Napoleonic period was the first seat of the lower House of the Cisalpine Republic and then of the Senate of the Kingdom of Italy. Today it houses the State archives. The most interesting feature of the building is its façade elliptic giving movement and makes it pleasant a building otherwise quite austere. Outside the entrance is a statue (his mother Ubu) Mirò-given to the municipality of Milan, who can like it or not.

  • This palace is the home of the Archive of the State. It was built in the XVII century by Federico Borromeo. Nice place to visit.
  • Nothing amazing - but like all the important buildings - would not be surprised if it's converted into a Hotel by some friends of friends

  • Overgrown and in poor condition. Exceptional place for archival.
