Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive. Visitors traveling on a budget can choose from a range of top-notch B&Bs and family-operated hostels, which offer private parking and access to private outdoor space, minutes from Milan's main attractions.

  • I discovered by chance in a historic building. Although a good architecture is more unobtrusive and is currently used as a building official.

  • Pass here very often and sometimes, like this morning, I pause to observe this building, on which I can only confirm what was written last year, both in a positive sense (the architecture and history), as well as negative (disorder and neglect inside). Always pleasant and well maintained the flowerbed, which helps to brighten up the environment and to maintain a high overall score. For the descriptive notes referring to my previous review. • Well you can watch only even because is a stone's throw away from the main attractions in Milan, you'll watch anyway. This is a historic monument, the end of the 16th century, Baroque, but nothing special about it is not. Was rebuilt after destruction during the second world war.
