  • An almost magical garden where you can admire several species of medicinal plants and not. I recommend taking place on one of the many benches kissed by the Sun and enjoy the peace and quiet of this place.

  • The end of December in the rain is probably not the best time to see this place, but you could get a feel for what a pleasant refuge it must be in summer. Can be accessed through the Pinoteca di Brera...  more »
  • I went to 8/2017. And down the road on the South side of the Brera art gallery, housing the city's at the end. You could in happened to be closed in a week or so when I went inside. This first way is what would come.

  • It is a bit difficult to find. Go through the court yard of the Brera's Museum/University and walk along the corridor opposite. At the end turn right down another corridor and the door leading to the gardenis off to the left. Entrance to the garden is about 20 m along to the right outside the door. It is a must see if you are interested in gardens, trees, plants or just looking for a quiet place to sit and relax in a quiet place in the centre of Milan. Completely unsuitable for children. So take your little darlings somewhere else please. The gardens are, however, popular with studious looking Italian students.  Look out for two large ginkgo trees, one female one male next to the garden wall in the corner to the right furthest from the garden entrance.
  • A beautiful garden located inside the academy. Pastoral and soothing. A nice place to eat a sandwich or simply relax. Ask the locals how to get.
  • After entering in the accademia di Brera Patio, you can follow a passage and find yourself immersed in the nature of a small and beautiful botanical garden. You can sit, walk around and enjoy this place respectfully. Enter is free
  • Secret garden in the center. And it is free. If it is warm go there.
  • A nice and paeceful stop in this tiny garden in the very heart of Milan..Free entrance. Some more maintenance may be needed.

Where to stay in Milan

For a quintessential Milanese experience, stay in the bustling heart of the old town. This area offers easy foot access to most of Milan's main sites, as well as some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, and theaters. The central area is also quite crowded, and comfortable rooms in good hotels can be very expensive. Visitors traveling on a budget can choose from a range of top-notch B&Bs and family-operated hostels, which offer private parking and access to private outdoor space, minutes from Milan's main attractions.
