  • Museum and exhibitions make this beautiful building an essential stop to learn about the history of the city. The exhibition will be held from November 10, 2016 in February 12, 2017 and entitled "Milan, story of a Renaissance. 1943 – 1953 by bombing the reconstruction "offers vintage images, videos, documents, objects documenting very accurately and clearly a decade very important – and perhaps not too well known – the history of the city. Is similar in style to previous shows ("Milan between the wars. Discover the city of canals through photographs of Arnaldo altar boys "of 2013 and 2015" water city "of Milan) and as previous exhibitions was organized very well, making room for beautiful photographs in black and white. As for the war, documents the damage of the Anglo-American bombings of 1943 at representative locations (La Scala, Cà Granda, ...) and factory tours, shows the places of fascism in town (the Hotel Diana, Hotel Regina, Villa Triste), the executions of partisans and Mussolini's corpse exposure on Piazzale Loreto. With regard to reconstruction, ample space is given to the documentation (especially, but not only) galleries on both new neighborhoods and new buildings designed by great architects is to daily life activities in the field of Arts and culture. A view very interesting, that-showing the spirit and strength of the city in a very difficult period – manages to be even a stimulus and a support for the present!

  • I was yesterday at palazzo Morando visit the exhibition "Milano 1943-53 story of rebirth". Imagined, but not to this extent, that my hometown had suffered serious damage, but when I saw the photographs I was really impressed and moved by the ability to reconstruct everything in such a short time! The exhibition is organized very well.

  • The temporary exhibition occupies the ground floor, turning around the elegant courtyard from Nice two-tone enlivened by lovely cobblestone bowls of yellow flowers – the current photographic exhibition deals with the Decade's 43/' 53 in the history of Milan, intending to highlight the strong recovery that the city was able to implement after the destructive bombing – the first part, in black, has photos of the buildings collapsed life rabberciata, displaced persons, then moving in the white of reconstruction and new proposals – luminously view crowded with people who squeezes his eyes trying to figure out which part of the road is the one or the Palace amazes ' was there before, more than are young people taking pictures of the old fridge or pondering the big picture – the tv show would have benefited from more space but the intent is cmq reached Thanks to the valuable explanatory signs – admission € 10.00 incl audioguide, discounts just for teachers, journalists and over-65

  • Surprisingly this was the only Fashion Museum in Milan. Although fairly small in comparison to other museum, it houses substantial collection of 10-20th century fashion pieces. I wish it had more of a diverse collection from modern designers, but it's worth a visit. If you're a student under the age of 25, you'll get a discount.
  • Great historic building, often with interesting expositions inside.
  • To see, beautiful, well maintained with permanent installation of paintings that depict characters and landscapes of the milanese
