  • Palazzo Morando is located in the heart of Milan, just a short walk from the famous Via Montenapoleone and is a little gem of art and history cannot be ignored. I went at this Palace for an afternoon organized among friends. The desire was to immerse ourselves in a Milan different and get to this place was a bit like stepping into the blue box of Doctor Who and begin a journey through the history of Milan between the 17th and 19th centuries. In fact in Palazzo Morando you can visit the art gallery which has an important iconographic collection that illustrates the transformation of the urban fabric and of the main events of public and private life in Milan. However the percorco continues with a visit to some of the eighteenth-century rooms restored to their former glory by restoring the original layout of the apartment according to the typical features of the stately mansions of the 18th century. The tour will amaze you even with the presence of some period clothing of municipal collections in Milan that traces the history of costume and its influence on society and on the life of Milan throughout the centuries of the eighteenth century to the present. In a nutshell Palazzo Morando was a real find, and as with most of the volt, the most beautiful are precisely those that we have in the backyard and ignore it. So if you are in Milan and walks to the Center, go to via Montenapoleone, but diverted to via Sant'Andrea and let yourself be kidnapped by this place full of history, art, but also and above all to Wonderland!

  • We stumbled upon today because, being the first Sunday of the month, the Palace was open and he was also free. Beautiful travel between rooms that still maintain their eighteenth-century character and admire paintings depicting the Milan from days of yore.

Inside, the 18th-century Palazzo, there are two layout, on the first floor there is a gallery, which shows the evolution of Milan, between the 17th and 19th centuries and many halls, reequipped according to eighteenth-century tastes.

  • Surprisingly this was the only Fashion Museum in Milan. Although fairly small in comparison to other museum, it houses substantial collection of 10-20th century fashion pieces. I wish it had more of a diverse collection from modern designers, but it's worth a visit. If you're a student under the age of 25, you'll get a discount.
  • Great historic building, often with interesting expositions inside.
  • To see, beautiful, well maintained with permanent installation of paintings that depict characters and landscapes of the milanese
