Learn about natural history through 5,500 sq m (59,202 sq ft) of exhibition space at Milan Natural History Museum. The building is a 19th-century Neo-Romanesque construction located in the Indro Montanelli Garden. Inside, visit five different sections: mineralogy, paleontology, natural history of man, invertebrate zoology, and vertebrate zoology. Observe replicas of different ecosystems in the collection of over 100 full-size dioramas. Displays include two examples of pygmy elephant skeletons, a sperm whale skeleton, and casts of several dinosaur skeletons.   • Interesting museum but not as diverse as the natural history museums in Berlin, Paris or London.
  • Fairly large for the central area. The dinosaurs area is a bit underwhelming, but the other parts are quite interesting. Good value too!
  • It was interesting, my six year-old daughter enjoyed it quite a bit.
  • I'd say this is a fascinating place that you can see many interesting bio models like tigers, T-Rexs, sea turtles...etc. I spent almost 3.5 hours there. I didn't read all the introduction but I enjoyed to watch the structure of each bio model.
  • Makes kids feel very comfortable with animals. Too bad writings are all in italian
